Sheila McHugh Memorial Scholarship

The Sheila McHugh Scholarship provides scholarships to students at CSUEB to encourage them to pursue the highest degree of excellence in their academic and professional careers, and to promote social responsibility in the areas of women’s education and global population control. To qualify for this opportunity, applicants must meet the following eligibility requirements:

  • Be a full-time undergraduate student, in good academic standing
  • Submit an essay that demonstrates your interest and promise in contributing to the fields of politics, medicine, the social sciences, or the arts in ways that would help slow population growth by enhancing women’s empowerment via education, contraception and reproductive control.
