Rare Disease Day Scholarship

The Rare Disease Day Scholarship is awarded annually to a deserving student with a disability who is pursuing undergraduate studies at CSUEB. To qualify for this opportunity, applicants must meet the following eligibility requirements:

  • Have a disability as defined by the Americans with Disabilities Act
  • Be receiving accommodations through Accessibility Services or provide diagnosis/disability information
  • Be enrolled half- or full-time as an undergraduate student
  • Submit an essay describing how applicant plans to use their undergraduate studies to impact the life of other individuals with disabilities
  • Agree to allow CSUEB to use applicant’s name and photo

- Award will disburse in the Fall quarter

  1. Upload a one-page typed essay (Times New Roman font, 12 font, 1” margins, and double-spaced) describing how you plan to use your undergraduate studies to impact the life of other individuals with disabilities.
  2. If I am a successful award recipient, I agree to allow CSUEB to use my name and photo (to be provided after award Acceptance).
