Ethel Kobelt Memorial Scholarship in Teacher Education

The Ethel Kobelt Scholarship in Teacher Education provides scholarship support for students seeking to become teachers. Preference will be given to those students whose financial situation is such that they might otherwise be unable to continue their degree. To qualify for this Opportunity, applicants must meet the following eligibility requirements:

  • Be enrolled in the Multiple Subjects Credential program
  • Have a minimum 3.0 GPA
  • Complete a 500-word essay answering the questions:
    What is your motivation to become a teacher?
    What are your goals in pursuing this career path?
    How will this award help you meet your financial obligations related to your career?
